Always satisfying when I don't want to go to far and want something fast. My go to is the value meal with bbq chicken comes with 3 chickens 4 pieces of mandoo 1scoop rice 2 choices of vegetables and a medium sized drink

The food is consistently good and flavorful, a great value, generous portions, clean restaurant.

I go here pretty often and my go to is meatbjum and chicken katsu. My 4 choices vary but japchae and egg are always needed. Very classic flavors but the portions are great!!! The only negative mark I want to make is the portion size definitely went down xD

This little proverbial hole in the wall is worth seeking out- ono food, reasonable prices and massive quantities! I hade the Peppa's special which includes mandoo, rice, 4 choice veggies, kalbi, bbq chicken and bulgogi. Dang! My wife had the bbq chicken combo with plenty meat jun. The folks are nice, it's clean inside and there is parking in the back, an excellent bonus. We had so much leftovers that we enjoyed another night of delicious Korean food. Now there's still chicken left for another plate. All in all, great value and you will not leave hungry. Com so mida!!!

Food tasted very good. Generose portion side vegetables tasted good Did not have to wait too long for food to be prepared

I really like coming to Peppa's Korean BBQ. Either in Manoa Valley or in Makiki. Both have plenty of parking out front. Yesterday, I came here to pick up dinner for me and my better half. As soon as I walked in, the friendly ladies greeted me with a loud welcome! They were ready to take my order, although I called in advance as I already decided on what to get. I ordered a regular size plate of Meat Jun and another regular size plate of Fish Jun. The lady just needed to know which ban chan for each plate. When you come earlier in the afternoon, most side dishes are available, the one that runs out quickly is egg omelette. Also be careful when transporting your food home as items tend to spill out of the plate, they really pack them ban chan! But they sure are quick with takeout, the kitchen is quite fast! You can dine in as there are plenty of clean tables, I've only enjoyed my meals in the comfort of my own home. Because they make these portions fairly big, there's always leftovers and shareable with your loved one. Open until 9pm, they always ask "Chops or Forks?" That's always so very nice of them. There's always customers coming and going as it's right on busy Wilder Avenue. They make a killing on sales because they are fast. Word of advice, just order a combination plate. You'll not only pay a lot for your food. But you'll also receive good service here!

One thing about this place is that their portions are pretty big. Their mini portions are huge too! LOCATION: This review is for their location in the Makiki Shopping Village. Right off of Wilder Avenue. PARKING: The shopping village has a small parking lot that's shared with other small businesses in the area. Depending on the time of day, it gets pretty busy. They have a few metered spots out front and street parking. Just be mindful of the tow zone times in the area. If you make a phone order, some park right in front of their store. However, don't park there too long.... The spot in front of their store is a no parking zone. SERVICE: They are always so nice and prompt whenever I visit here. I've always received friendly service here. ATMOSPHERE: Their store is always clean. I always see them cleaning and wiping tables. There's a few tables to eat at inside and it feels very cozy. I believe this is a small family business?? Not too sure, but it feels like it. FOOD: Their portions are pretty big. Their plates come with banchan and they are very generous with the portions. I hope you come in with an appetite! My favorite dish to get here is their mean jun... or bbq chicken.. or seaweed soup. Although their menu is limited, they serve the typical takeout Korean dishes. This place is simple, convenient and always delicious!

We came here on a Friday afternoon to pickup some takeout for dinner. I got a combination Bbq chicken and Kalbi and my wife got the Meat Jun plate. Banchan veggies were all nicely arranged and everything we got was fresh and delicious. The meats were all good too! Plates were generous and we each got two meals out of it. The workers were polite and the place was really clean. I'd definitely come here again!

Everything was great this time that I went. I ordered three plates: kalbi, meat jun, fried chicken wings. I haven't bought their fried chicken wings in eight years. The last time I ordered it it was spoiled and sour. I got brave and decided to give it another go. It was delicious this time around and thankfully not spoiled. The kalbi and meat jun I order all the time and it's always on point. I didn't get any rice and got another side instead. The plates usually come with four sides and rice. If you don't want rice you can sub it with another side. My favorite side is the shoyu potatoes. I also get the mayo potatoes, choy sum, kim chee, kim chee cucumber and japchae. I'm not sure if it's only at this location but every Wednesdays and Fridays they have the marinated veggies. It contains carrots, round onions, green bell peppers and eggplant. This is so good. If you're ever here on a Wednesday or Friday you should try it.
